New Details on Huguette Clark Story on MSNBC

For those blog readers who have followed my various posts on Huguette Clark, here are the latest interesting twists on this story:

This story gets more and more interesting.  Who could believe a planned giving story includes such history, intrigue, incompetence, and more?

  1. What is sad is that her charitable intentions may not be honored if the family uses this and other ways to challenge her estate plan. Of course, there is the not-so-dissimilar saga of the Astor estate, including criminal convictions and corrupt, inept advisors. As donors keep telling me, getting old is not fun; and adding dementia into the mix simply makes things worse with “trusted advisors” like these characters out there.
