This 3-part webinar series is for major gift and other face-to-face fundraisers who are looking to add planned gift cultivation to their repertoire without getting into the weeds of the technical stuff!! Our goal is to make it easier for you to introduce the topic and be conversant in the basic vehicles (enough to hand it over to the your planned giving counsel if necessary).

- Intro and Overview – If you are a major gift officer, you know a bit about planned giving already – we get that. In this first session, we will take a fresh look at the field, its humongous potential and do a quick overview of basic vehicles.
- Initiating the Legacy Discussion and Educating Your Prospects – How do you even initiate a conversation about legacy giving? We’ll give you an approach to broaching the topic of legacy giving and how to begin educating your prospects on the options (without feeling like a fool!).
- Life Income Options – What would a planned giving course be without Charitable Remainder Trusts and Gift Annuities? We will cover the most likely life income scenarios that you may encounter (the real simple, easy stuff) and what you need to know to help move the process along!
